Got a quote from another HVAC company? Get a free 2nd opinion.

Engineers, not salespeople. We'll review any HVAC, water-heater, or full-system quote you've received — at no cost, no obligation, no pressure. Most reviews take one business day.

What you get with a Delta T second opinion

  • No obligation

Send us the quote. We give you our honest assessment. You decide — no follow-up sales pressure.

  • Apples to apples

We match the scope of the original quote exactly — same equipment tier, same labor scope. No moving goalposts.

  • No pressure

If our price is higher, we'll tell you and recommend you stay with the original company. We'd rather earn your trust.

Send us your quote

Send the quote. We'll review it within one business day.

Snap a photo of the proposal, paste the numbers, or just tell us what the other company quoted you. A P.E.-licensed engineer reviews every submission personally — not a sales rep, not an AI.

Free 2nd Opinion

We'll never share your info or add you to a marketing list.

How it works

Three steps. No sales call dressed up as a consultation.

  1. Send us your quote

Form above, photo upload, paste-in, or a quick call — whatever's easiest.

  2. A P.E. reviews it

An actual engineer looks at the scope, the equipment, and the price. Not a sales script.

  3. We call you back

Within one business day, with our honest take — repair vs. replace, fair price vs. high, and what we'd do if it were our house.

Why this page exists

Most HVAC techs are paid to sell you a new system. Ours aren't.

Adam Golubski and Andy Mitchell are both licensed professional engineers. They built Delta T in 2014 because they were tired of watching neighbors get pushed into systems they didn't need. So when our team reviews a quote, the math comes first — and the truth comes second, even when the truth is “your unit's fine, that quote was fair, you don't need us today.”

Common questions

Is the second opinion really free?

Yes — no service fee, no diagnostic charge, no consultation fee. Submit the quote, an engineer reviews it, and we call you back with our honest assessment. If you decide our number is better than the original, great. If not, we wish you well. No invoice either way.

Will Delta T tell me if the original quote is actually fair?

Yes. About 30% of the quotes we review are within fair range for the scope — when that's the case, we'll tell you and recommend you proceed with the original company. We'd rather be the team you trust to tell you the truth than the team you blame later for an unnecessary upsell.

What if Delta T's price comes out higher than the other company's?

We'll tell you. And we'll explain why — sometimes a higher quote reflects a properly-sized system, better equipment, or a more durable install. Sometimes it doesn't. Either way, you'll have the math to make a confident call. No follow-up sales pressure.

How long does the review take?

We call you back within one business day. A typical review takes an engineer 10–20 minutes per quote. Complex commercial or full-system replacements may need a second pass.

Do I have to send the original written quote?

No — but it helps. If you only have notes or a verbal price, just describe what you remember in the form (or tell us on the phone). The more detail we have, the more useful our review.

Or just call us.

A real person picks up — and if you describe what you were quoted, we'll start the review on the call.
